Support the IEEE History Center

Annually the IEEE History Center is financially supported by numerous Institutions and individuals. Their generous support is greatly appreciated in helping to maintain the numerous activities of the Center.

About half of the Centers support comes from the operating budgets of IEEE and Rutgers University, and from a quasi-endowment, known as the History Fund, which was created in 1996 by major donations from the IEEE General Fund, the IEEE Foundation General Fund, and the Friends of the IEEE History Center Fund. Since then the endowment has received many donations from the IEEE Societies, IEEE Foundation, IEEE Life Members Committee and IEEE Sections, as well as from individuals and corporations. The IEEE History Center also receives support from contracts and grants. The remaining support comes primarily from contracts and grants and annual gifts from individuals.

We need your support to continue the funding for the IEEE Global History Network. If you wish to make a donation, you can not only give personally, but ask your employer and other organizations with which you are associated whether they also have a matching gifts program of their own, or whether they want to make direct contributions. Please use the online Donation and Pledge Form to make a donation.
